Bar Molino's paella
Those Sunday afternoons growing up
For us, paella has always been the Sunday family tradition.
Carles, Lluc's father, used to make us a wonderful mixed paella every week. He never had to call us in for lunch: the smell would reach us while we were kicking a ball around the streets of Sóller, and it would bring us home on our own. Today we carry on that same tradition at Bar Molino, and Carles is still with us every day, lending a hand with the same warmth he always has. When you order a paella, we start from scratch: the rice cooks slowly in our homemade cuttlefish stock while you do exactly what we used to do, enjoy the shade and a drink on the terrace. Once the paella is ready and lands on the table, it's time to savour the whole experience in good company and remember those Sunday afternoons from childhood. Enjoy!

Special paella: lobster or fish, by order only
The lobster paella is prepared by Lluc to order, with a minimum of three days' notice, and the price depends on the market, because the lobster goes straight from the port to your table. We also make a fish paella if you prefer. This gives us the time we need to prepare the stock and source the fish and seafood. These are the paellas for special occasions, the ones you book ahead and look forward to. Call us at least 3 days in advance and we'll have it ready for you.
