Our history
History of Bar Molino
Bar Molino most likely owes its name to an old watermill that once stood in this corner of the Sóller valley. The irrigation channel from the valley's historic water system is still there: it runs alongside the steps down to the terrace, and from the bench beside it you can watch the water flow by. The soft, almost imperceptible sound of the water makes you feel you're in a calm yet living place, where you can enjoy the experience to the fullest.
A key restaurant in Sóller's old town
Today, Bar Molino is a key restaurant in the old town, open from Thursday to Monday from 12:00 to 22:00, with the kitchen open all day. The menu combines the most beloved tapas of Spanish cuisine with dishes from around the world, reflecting the open spirit and the cultures that have captured Lluc's heart throughout his travels.
Local produce from the Sóller Cooperative
Our connection with the Sóller Cooperative allows us to work with high-quality seasonal vegetables and products, grown right in the valley. This closeness to local products defines the culinary philosophy of Bar Molino.
