Cookie Policy
What are cookies?
Access to this Website may involve the use of cookies. Cookies are small amounts of information that are stored in the browser used by each User (on the various devices they may use to navigate) so that the server remembers certain information that subsequently, and only the server that implemented it, will read. Cookies make navigation easier, make it more user-friendly and do not damage the navigation device.
Cookies are automatic procedures for collecting information relating to the preferences determined by the User during their visit to the Website, in order to recognise them as a User and personalise their experience and use of the Website. They can also, for example, help to identify and resolve errors.
The information collected through cookies may include the date and time of visits to the Website, the pages viewed, the time spent on the Website and the sites visited just before and after it. However, no cookie allows it to contact the User's telephone number or any other means of personal contact. No cookie can extract information from the User's hard drive or steal personal information. The only way for the User's private information to form part of the cookie file is for the user themselves to personally provide that information to the server.
Cookies used on this Website
This Website does not use analytics or advertising cookies; in fact, no cookies are installed at all. Only a technical browser storage mechanism (localStorage) is used to remember that the User has closed the language suggestion notice, so that it is not shown again. This information is stored exclusively on the User's device, is not transmitted to the server, does not allow the User to be personally identified nor their browsing on other websites to be tracked and, as strictly technical storage, it is exempt from the duty to obtain consent.
Cookies that allow a person to be identified are considered personal data. Therefore, the Privacy Policy shall apply to them. In this regard, their use shall require the consent of the User, communicated on the basis of a genuine choice, given by means of an affirmative and positive decision, prior to the initial processing, removable and documented.
First-party cookies and analytics
Bar Molino does not send any first-party cookies to the User's computer or device. The only first-party storage is the technical mechanism described in the previous section, managed exclusively by Bar Molino for the proper functioning of the Website.
Additionally, the owner uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a web analytics service that provides aggregated visit statistics without using cookies or other browser storage mechanisms, without creating individual profiles or tracking Users across different sites. This service provides only anonymous and aggregated information about the Website's traffic; being cookieless analytics, it does not require the User's prior consent.
Third-party resources
The Website embeds an interactive map from the OpenStreetMap service, operated by the OpenStreetMap Foundation. This external resource does not install cookies or any other storage mechanisms on the User's device. When the page containing it loads, the openstreetmap.org servers receive the technical connection data (IP address and browser data), as detailed in the Privacy Policy.
Disabling, rejecting and deleting cookies
The User may disable, reject and delete the cookies, in whole or in part, installed on their device through the settings of their browser (among which are, for example, Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge). The procedures for rejecting and deleting cookies may differ from one browser to another, so the User must refer to the instructions provided by the browser they are using. In the event that they reject the use of cookies, in whole or in part, they may continue to use the Website, although the use of some of its features may be limited.
